What is the Reaction Knee Brace?

The Reaction Knee brace was developed by an orthopedic surgeon for patients who suffer with Anterior knee pain related to a range of conditions including Chonodromalacia Patella, Osgood-Schlatter disease, Quadriceps and Patella Tendonitis/Tendinosis, Mild Osteoarthritis (OA) and general Patellofemoral (PF) Syndrome tracking issues. The Reaction Knee Brace features an elastomeric web design, which provides energy dispersion and shock absorption for progressive pain relief. The brace has adjustable straps which stay in place and they can also be customised for comfort and desired degree of elastic return.

When can I use the Reaction Knee Brace?

The Reaction Knee Brace can be used to relieve Anterior knee pain during daily and sporting activities including contact sports. It can also be used following a Cartilage injury or when there is mild Arthritis in the knee. The knee brace also has a removable anti-sweat breathable sleeve that is worn beneath the brace, which can also be used to protect the skin from chafing, and therefore improving the wearer's comfort.

How does the Reaction Knee Brace work?

The Reaction Knee Brace features flexible membranes, which elongate with joint motion and return to their original dimensions, absorbing shock and moving peak loads away from the painful area. The knee brace provides an unrestricted, intimate fit around the patella and the mesh backing is both comfortable and breathable. It also features dual-axis hinges which are flexible and provide additional support to the knee. To ensure of total comfort the knee brace has a fitted under-sleeve, this helps to prevent skin irritation and provides compression and tissue containment.
